The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an international standardized test for non-native Japanese speakers, measuring language knowledge across five levels from N5 (beginner) to N1 (advanced).

The JLPT deck groups 5,409 words containing 1,714 distinct kanji across all five JLPT levels.

The test organizers do not publish official kanji or vocabulary lists, so the level assignments are approximate.
